Contented Sighs All Around...

I love the days that I can work from "The Anderson Office" meaning HOME...I can have greyhounds all around me all day long, and hear the contented sighs and occasional sleep yips any time I want.  And just when I think they are all asleep, Profee will goose me in the back and scare me to death.

We're coming up on the second anniversary of Bo's death, and I'm a lot more at peace than I was last year.  Maybe it's the added time...maybe it's the lack of adoption work stress or the success of the renn fest group...maybe it's Daisy coming to live with us sometime in the future.  Whatever it is, the thought of his smiling face now gives me a warm fuzzy feeling rather than a stabbing pain.

I've gotten onto the Greyhound Crossroads message board and am meeting some new folks.  The folks that were "hurt" by my "leaving" haven't said anything to me, and I'm going to let that one rest.  There are lots more folks that knew me and have told me they're glad to see me, and that makes it worthwhile.  Besides, you can NEVER have too many places to talk about your greyhounds, right?

Not a lot of winter weather so far this year.  We had some ice last weekend, and we think Jeany fell on it and pulled a muscle, but no substatial accumulation.  It is only February first, though...  Here's an old snow image that is still one of my favorites...
