Just some random photos today. I'm feeling very random...and a bit sad. A good friend of mine, Lisa, lost one of her greyhounds to osteo this morning. Solid Calypso, better known to her family as Holly Marie, was a stunning red female. She was a littermate to one of the Lisa's other greyhounds, Striper, who was our first real foster. I just hope BoBo was a gentleman to Holly when she arrived at the bridge...

We put Hunk through the torture known as A Trip To The Vet yesterday for a toe checkup. He still has symmetrical lupoid onchodystrophy (SLO, though his is really just lupoid onchodystrophy b/c it is definitely not symmetrical), he is still gaining weight (up to a hefty 87.5 lbs now and only 29in at the shoulder, yikes!), and he still is licking the fool out of his foot. He's gone on a diet now that has a twofold purpose. One is to take some weight off...he raced at 72ish and I don't want to see him at more than 78. The other is to find out if he has an allergy to grain like his littermate Marky does.

Liz is Liz. She's developed sort of a Parkinsonian tremor which is a little odd, but if we put her coat on her (even if she's so hot her ears are red and her tongue is touching the ground) she settles a little bit. I love that old bat.

Enjoy the random photos...
